It’s easy to miss stuff, I get it.

I frequently share articles and videos on my Facebook page, Dr Michelle Koe Page. I share even more with my Facebook group, Natural and Alternative Solutions for Health. I know that you’ve probably already liked the Facebook page and have joined the Facebook group (and yes, these are 2 entirely different things) but you still may have missed some stuff, like this:

How many of you drink lemon water because you’ve heard that it’s healthy? ??‍♀️ I’m talking about actual lemons… not lemon essential oil (because you KNOW that it’s a safety issue if you’ve been following me). ? Want the truth? Read this article from examine.com.- a trusted authority that provides evidence based research to support or debunk what you’ve heard. My favorite line from this article: ? Lemons are just a fruit and fruits are healthy? In other words, lemons are not magical…. neither is lemon water.

Bentonite & kaolin clay face masks, hydrosol face toners, tamanu & marula based face serums…. just a few of the products I make myself because I know the harms of the toxins often found in many commercial products. But I’ve never considered the role of collagen peptide in skin care. And I’ve certainly never thought of ingesting them as a supplement. After reading this article from Designs for Health, I may have to reconsider….you may too. https://blog.designsforhealth.com/node/863

This list of “easy meals” for college kids made me laugh. I wonder how many of these recipes college kids would make…. my almost 20 years old made only the first one (avocado toast). Which she made at home not at school. What do you think. If you have college age kids, how likely are they to make these recipes? I say that for me, these look delicious and I’ll definitely be making them! https://www.popsugar.com/fitness/Healthy-Recipes-College-Students-45049709?utm_medium=Facebook&utm_source=messenger&utm_campaign=45049709

I was just speaking with a client the other day about magnesium and the different salt forms available. Personally, I enjoy my magnesium sulfate foot baths as a way to supplement. If you’re wondering- that’s Epsom salt. Occasionally I’ll throw in some sea salt and pretend I’m at the ocean.
