I always wondered about workout finishers- why do I need a finisher?

First of all, what is a finisher you may be asking?  Well, everyone has a different interpretation of this, but to me it is a way to completely blast my body with cardio at the end of a workout.  Personally, I like to feel like I’ve got nothing left when I’m done with my workout.  Even when I’m doing strength training, I enjoy finishing with a short cardio blast.

These cardio blasts aren’t long… usually 1-2 minutes, but I give it my all.  Try adding this finisher to your next workout:

10 repetitions each:

Pushups

Squat jumps

Lunge jumps

Repeat each cycle for 2 minutes.
